Dr. David Ho
Dr. David Ho is scientific director and CEO of the Aaron
Diamond AIDS Research Center at the Rockefeller University
in New York City. Under Ho's direction, the center's researchers
have published groundbreaking studies about how HIV replicates
and how certain individuals are naturally resistant to HIV
infection. They have also led the way in developing revolutionary
combination drug therapies for AIDS. Ho serves on numerous
advisory councils and boards and is a reviewer for nineteen
peer-reviewed medical journals. He is the recipient of four
honorary degrees and was Time magazine's Man of the Year
in 1996. In 2006, California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger inducted Ho
into the California Hall of Fame for his accomplishments.
